Royersford’s Limerick Community Park provides no shortage of opportunities for recreation, and in late September, it will serve as the location for a festival planned with beer and wine lovers in mind.
The city has scheduled its annual Uncorked Festival, which will welcome its ticketholders for five hours. The proceeds of the afternoon are slated for donation to an assortment of area causes, and since alcohol will be served, the function is restricted to those age 21 and up.
Guests at the festival will be treated to complimentary samples of wine and beer, as well as a chance to purchase a meal or snack from one of the nationally recognized food trucks on site. Live music will keep the energy levels high, and a craft market will round out the festivities.
This festive fundraiser is being brought to Royersford courtesy of the Rotary Club of Spring-Ford as one of its community service projects. Each corporate sponsor has had its Logo Design added to the website.
This kick-off to Royersford’s fall festival schedule has been planned for Saturday, September 30, and its planners are hoping it will be a big success. Passes to be part of the fun are available now via the event website. Presale admission tickets are currently $30, but this will go up on the day of the event.
