Fundraisers fall like rain next month

The city of Royersford is going to be the location of two fundraisers this fall, one of which is for the public library while the other is in aid of Royersford Elementary School.

Royersford Public Library is hosting its annual Booktoberfest next month. This is an event for people aged 21 and over and will feature craft beers, food, and a silent auction. It will help to pay for the many programs that the library presents throughout the year.

Soon after, the annual Dance-a-Thon is taking place at Royersford Elementary School. This unique fundraiser lines up students sponsored by members of the community as they compete to win trophies. With accolades up for grabs for a finish in the top three, proceeds from this event will pay for various equipment and upgrades in the school. It raised $25,000 last year and is looking for a similar goal this time round. Attendance is open to students and family members.

Royersford printing companies are often asked to help advertise fundraising events like these. This might mean providing Flyers, Banners, or pledge Forms to be distributed in the community.

Booktoberfest is being held at the Spring Ford Country Club on October 19 from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. To learn more about the event, call 610-948-7277.

The Dance-a-thon will then take place at Royersford Elementary School on October 24 from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. For more information, call 610-705-6005.
