Royersford’s local dollar store, the Family Dollar, is being converted into a Dollar Tree store during this month.
While the ownership of the store will remain the same, the name is changing, as are the merchandise and marketing for the store.
The store, which is located in Royersford’s Park Towne Plaza at 301 N. Lewis Road, will be closed for the remainder of the month of October while renovations and remerchandising takes place. Earlier this month, the store held a close-out sale to sell as much merchandise as possible before the renovations occur.
Consumers are urged to keep an eye out for news of the launch of the new store to enjoy the low prices they did with Family Dollar. The grand opening of the new store may be marked with special promotions and an in-store celebration. This may include graphic design work to create Posters and Brochures, which would likely be printed by a local printing company.
The $9.1bn purchase and between Dollar Tree and Family Dollar was finalized in July of this year. The deal stipulated that Dollar tree would convert select Family Dollar locations to the Dollar Tree brand.
This deal was considered anticompetitive at first, so the pair had to agree to sell off 330 locations of the Family Dollar brand stores in order for it to go through. Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Brochures
