Business leaders to club together

In little over a week, the 30th Golf Outing of the Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce will be taking place in Royersford.

Golf fees will include a round of golf, lunch, a dinner buffet, a photo booth, and awards for first and second, as well as contest winners.

Every registered golfer will receive a goodie bag filled with promotional items, discounts, and coupons. The event will be a shotgun start and contests are held for putting, the straightest drive, and two lucky foursomes. Each registered foursome will have the option of having a hole sign. Players can also purchase raffle tickets and mulligans.

Sponsorships are available for local business from $30 up to $1,400. Among the perks for sponsors is an exhibition table on the green, as well as various signage on the course.

Golf allows Royersford and area business leaders to network with one another. It is therefore likely that most of those attending will be placing a new business card printing order in advance just to ensure they have enough cards to exchange with their peers.

The golf outing will take place at the Spring Ford Country Club in Royersford on June 8. Fees are $150, $600 for a foursome, and $35 for the dinner buffet only, while mulligans are $10 for one and $20 for three. To find out more, call 610-489-6660.
