The 4th annual Royersford Community Day is being held this September. This popular festival attracts approximately 4,000 visitors to the area.
Main Street will be closed to traffic from 2nd to 7th. Among the many planned activities will be a car and motorcycle show, street performers, and children's games. The car show is free to register, and the first 100 vehicles will receive a dash plaque. Only 150 cars will be accepted, and trophies will be awarded for the winners in several categories; the deadline to register passed on Friday.
The Royersford Veterinary Hospital will be hosting a pet show. Prizes will be given out in categories such as Best Dressed, Best Owner-Pet Look Alike, and Biggest.
In addition, over 80 arts and crafts vendors will be on hand to sell their handmade, unique items. Community groups such as the Royersford Area Community Chest and Victim Services of Montgomery County, Inc. will be setting up informational booths.
Many of the vendors, who will come from Royersford and other nearby communities, may decide to contact their local banner printing company. A colorful banner may bring more attention to their booth.
