Tech-group opens Lewis Center location
Radiant Technology Group, which designs systems for videoconferencing, and integrates various manufacturers' technologies into a diverse group of packages, has opened a headquarters in Lewis Center.
The new location is over three times bigger than the company's original office, and cost $1.7m. Radiant also opened a showroom in the northeast part of the state.
The company also has offices in Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, and is on track to open in up to eight more locations in the next 10 years. Radiant president Greg Myers, who began the company in 2001, says the firm seems to be on track to do 15% more sales this year than in 2013. He said the company's annual growth rate has been between 10% and 25% every year, even in the middle of the recession. He says the company has never lost sales in any year, and it has no outside investors.
The new building comprises 20,000 square feet, including a showroom, and replaces a 6,000 square foot office. The new facility will allow Radiant to give its clients demonstrations of how its conference rooms, which are video-enabled, function.
Radiant's growth means that it could soon be hiring. The company could work with business card printers to make sure its new employees have up-to-date cards. Digital business cards can be printed in small quantities if people are hired singly.
