Shopping center to welcome families for Santa photos
Polaris Fashion Place will allow families to take photos with Santa Claus for most of next month. Locals from Lewis Center can also stop by to meet with Santa.
Families can choose to either reserve a timeslot or walk in to get photos taken. Organizers often use banner printing to help guide guests towards where Santa is. Also, to help with health and safety, the mall will follow COVID-19 precautions. These include sanitation stations for guests and social distancing while lining up.
Organizers will also dedicate a “Sensitive Santa” event for children who have sensory sensitivities. This event is sponsored with the help of Trumpet Behavioral Health and will provide guests with a safer and more controlled environment to take photos. Organizers will reduce traffic around the photo area, lower music volume, and use dimmer lighting to help visitors have a more comfortable experience.
Photos with Santa will take place throughout December up until Christmas Eve. Santa will be at the mall from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with breaks from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM. As for the Sensitive Santa event, it will happen on December 5 and 12, and Santa will be available from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Photo packages will range from $34.99 to $49.99.
