Ohio University, Lancaster, is getting ready for spring, inviting everyone in the community, as well as faculty, staff, and students, to join in a week of fun. The activities include everything from cookouts to live theatrical performances.

Monday morning brings free doughnuts to the North Lobby, in an event called Don(u)t Stress, from 8.00 am until 10.00 am. From noon until 3.00 pm, adventurous people can try riding a mechanical bull in the gym, and at 7.00 pm, there's a comedy show in the Wagner Theater.

Tuesday brings free pancakes at 9.00 am in the North Lobby, along with coffee, the cornhole game in the gym, and a chance to sit down with a dog to eliminate stress, also in the North Lobby.

On Wednesday, from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm, people will gather at the covered bridge to “Beautify the Bridge.” A cookout is scheduled from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm in the third-floor courtyard, which is also the site of an Easter Egg Hunt, planned to start at 11.00 am. At 4.30 pm, a baseball game at Beavers Field will pit Ohio University Lancaster against Ohio University Chillicothe, and the day winds up with a film festival, beginning at 6.30 pm.

Thursday is packed with more activities including a theatrical cabaret, and bowling. Organizers of festivals like this can use flyer printing to help people keep track of activities.

Springfest runs from today Monday April 15 through Thursday, April 18, on the OUL campus.
