The annual Lancaster Ohio Bra Crawl will be taking place this October.
The Bra Crawl, organized by the non-profit organization Key to Giving, is the 13th event of its kind. It originated in 2011 as a heartfelt response to support a dear friend, Jennie Woodruff, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. This annual event has since blossomed into a cherished tradition in Fairfield County, dedicated to raising funds for local women in need.
In its inaugural year, the Lancaster Ohio Bra Crawl gathered 50 participants and raised just over $1,000 to aid Woodruff with her medical expenses. As time passed, the event's purpose expanded. Her request for additional Crawls to support fellow travelers on their cancer journeys gave birth to an enduring tradition. Over the years, this event has generated over $125,000, all of which goes directly to assisting 14 Fairfield County women.
The cost to attend the event is $25. Those attending must be 21 years old or older and must possess an ID to enter. Poster printing can be a great way for organizers to provide information about annual events such as this one.
The event will be taking place on Saturday, October 7, it will begin at 12:00 pm and will end at 8:00 pm. Its location will be at Zane Square Band Stand 128 N Broad St Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
