The Ohio University Lancaster | Pickerington (OULP) recently announced it has hired Joshua Moore to serve as Enrollment Manager. Moore, an Ohio University alumnus, has 15 years’ experience working in higher education.
Moore comes to OULP from Ohio Christian University, where he served as Assistant Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, increasing enrollment while at the same time managing a staff of retention, marketing, recruiting, and military persons. He also added significant input to the vision for the university’s future.
Moore has also worked at the Chamberlain College of Nursing, where he helped to increase the number of students, as well as expanding the college from one campus to ten, now located throughout the country.
Born and raised in Lancaster, Moore attended OULP before completing his degree in sports management in Athens. Keller Graduate School of Management granted him an MBA, and he is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in higher education administration.
Moore is excited about coming back to his old school, saying that helping students achieve their educational goals is one of his passions. He also credits OULP with setting him on his career path, and looks forward to sharing his story with others.
Announcements like this are important to a community, so university officials might consider working with a brochure printing company to create a booklet, which could also include information about the university itself.
