Fans of blues music have an event tailored just for them, coming up soon in Lancaster.
Fat Cat Pizzeria will host Harold Stewart and The Blues Hounds soon. The group performs and records internationally, with Columbus, Ohio, serving as their home base. They have been headliners at a number of international events, recorded two CDs in Japan, and opened for other bands in venues overseas. Their travels have taken then to eight different countries for performances spanning Asia, North America, Europe, the Pacific, and Australia. They have been featured on radio and television in four countries, increasing their popularity with an international audience.
As inspiration, The Blues Hounds cite the sound of the late 1960s created by masters such as Otis Rush and B.B. King. They play songs from giants such as Ray Charles and T-Bone Walker, and their setlist features numbers like “Watermelon Man,” “The Thrill is Gone,” “Sweet Home Chicago,” “Shake, Rattle, & Roll,” “Roadhouse Blues,” “Night Stomp,” and many more.
In the United States, their performances have taken them from Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago to the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh, and now to their home region, bringing classic blues to Lancaster.
Harold Stewart and The Blues Hounds will bring their high-energy performance to Lancaster on February 14 at 8:00 pm. Poster printing is often used to create publicity for events like this.
