There is an opportunity for children to go camping in Lancaster, but not in the usual sense.
Buck-Icon is organizing its Football Fun Camp 2021, a single-day event for youngster from ages 7-18, who are students at a Fairfield County school. Buck-Icon LLC is a retailer handling collegiate and professional sports merchandise and Apparel. The company also provides resources to associates and former members of the Ohio State Football program.
The guests at the camp are from the program, many of whom went on to the NFL. They are Treyvon Wilburn, Kato Mitchell, Joshua Alabi, and Jeff Greene. Those who played in the NFL are Tyvis Powell (Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, more); Joe Cooper (New York Jets, others); James Cotton (Calgary Stampeders, Buffalo Bills, more); Doran Grant (Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, more); Courtland Bullard (St. Louis Rams, others); and Chase Farris (New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and more). Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for participants in events like this.
To keep everyone safe and healthy, only volunteers, students, and campers will be allowed inside the track. Non-participants must always wear a mask, and parents and others providing rides must remain outside the gates. Water and lunch will be provided to volunteers and participants.
The free camp is set for June 26, inside the track at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Check-in begins at 9.00 am, with the camp from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm. The event is limited to the 175 people who sign up first.
