The Big Brothers, Big Sisters (BBBS) of Fairfield County presents the 13th staging of the Annual Comedy Night benefit.
BBBS has been influencing the lives of children for over 100 years. Ernest Coulter, a New York City court clerk, started the Big Brother movement in 1904 with approximately 39 volunteers, who each took a little boy under their guidance to help them stay on the right side of the law. Since then, his initiative has grown into the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America with agencies across the country and all over the world.
The comedy night started in 2010 to raise money for support programs for children in Hocking and Fairfield Counties. A limited number of tickets will be available, so those who are interested in attending are encouraged to purchase early. Tickets can be purchased at the BBBS headquarters at 625 Garfield Avenue, Lancaster, or Sponsor Bruce Chiropractic’s office at 422 North Columbus Street in Lancaster. Those interested in sponsoring the event can contact Jolyn at (740) 687-9477. Poster printing is a great way for event organizers to provide information about charity events such as this.
Guests should make their way to 1803 Granville Pike in Lancaster, Ohio on Saturday, August 13, for the big event. Food trucks and a cash bar will be available from 6:00 pm. The show will start at 7:30 pm. Visit the Facebook page for more information about the event.
