The restaurant formerly known as Culinary Arts is now the Aqua Pazzo, and has a fresh look and menu to go along with its new name.
In the words of Chef Mark Canzonetta, the new restaurant will take diners on an “amazing journey” that will include touring the cuisines of Italy. Dishes from Naples, Florence and Rome will be included and some selections may combine the tastes of two or more cities.
Canzonetta said that the inspiration for the menu came from the tastes and smells of his childhood and the time he spent with his immigrant Italian grandparents. Billed as a modern Italian restaurant, Canzonetta explains the eatery’s name is a spelling variation of ‘acqua pazza’, which is a culinary term used for poached fish.
As with the launch of any new restaurant, a variety of promotional tools will likely be used. Flyers announcing the establishment’s opening and hours will likely be used. In many cases, coupons to be used on specific days are distributed throughout targeted neighborhoods to build a new establishment’s clientele.
Culinary Arts Restaurant, located in Boardman at 492 McClurg Road, closed its doors for the last time on March 19 and the Aqua Pazzo will commence its regular schedule today, May 10. The new restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday at 4:00 pm each day.
