The Center for Sound Therapy in Boardman will host an experience in February where couples can enjoy a sound nap.
The Aqua Dreams Sound Nap Experience is an event that uses different instruments to help people relax. The musician will use tools that sound like water to create a calming atmosphere for participants. Guests will hear music from a glockenspiel and vibraphone during their sound nap session. People are allowed to lie down and rest at the event. There is only enough room at the venue to accommodate 13 guests. Centers that organize similar activities to this may use printing services to help them make ads for their programs.
The music for the relaxing experience will be provided by Katalin La Favre, an experienced musician who graduated from Colburn School with a degree in percussion. She has studied under several notable musicians, such as Jack Van Geem and Jean Geoffroy. La Favre takes part in many events, like Bach's Music Box and the Sound Nap at Grounded Retreat. She also holds music lessons at Bay Village Middle School and the Fairmount Center for the Arts.
The water-themed sound nap will take place on February 11th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. The Center for Sound Therapy has a Valentine's Day deal where couples can pay $50 to attend the sound bath. All guests must pre-register, and no refunds will be given for the event.
