The annual Toughest Monster Truck Tour returns to the Covelli Centre early next month, welcoming fans from the Youngstown and Boardman area.
After a spirited race with a surprising finish during last year’s event, expectations are high and the tension is mounting in 2018. After Bigfoot had more than five years of first place finishes at the Tour Championship, fans were shocked when Snake Bite came out of nowhere to take the race and the title. This year’s event will see the return of Bigfoot and Snake Bite, plus many other fan favorite trucks.
In addition to the truck races, fans will have the opportunity to meet the drivers and get up close and personal with the trucks, during the evening Pit Parties that start before the show. Revellers can obtain Pit Passes when they make their ticket purchase, at the door, or at any participating O’Reilly Auto Parts Stores.
Other attractions include Megasaurus, a fire breathing mechanical dinosaur measuring over three stories tall. Motocross bikes will also be featured, demonstrating specialized stunts and manoeuvres at incredible heights.
Organizers of such tours often use a Print company to create event programs detailing the particulars. The 2018 truck tour will be held on Friday, February 2, and Saturday, February 3. The pit parties will begin at 5:30 pm, with the main show starting at 7:30 pm.
