Boardman residents can learn how to get the most out of their virtual library experience by attending a presentation offered by the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County.
Using the Library Website and Digital Resources is a public presentation discussing the benefits of the library’s online programs. Attendees can discover many of the organization’s virtual services as library representatives talk through its databases, courses, and collections during a live call. The presentation will be held via Zoom and is intended to be viewed by adults. Invites to the call will be sent to the emails of each registrant.
There are several helpful online resources offered by the library that patrons can benefit from using. The organization provides users with many links on its designated research page, providing people with direct access to sites such as Academic Search Premier, Business Source Complete, and the Home Improvement Reference Center. Another online resource provided by the library is the Genealogy and Local History Center.
Programs like these can be advertised by organizations using poster printing.
The virtual presentation will be held on Wednesday, March 10th from 12pm to 1pm. There are only 10 seats available, so interested patrons should register in advance to secure their spot. There is no fee needed to register for the program. Guests can also visit the library’s online resources page to explore the provided links at their leisure.
