Community crafts expo to return to Boardman

The Rotary Club of Boardman will organize its annual crafts market in October at Boardman Township Park.

The Boardman Rotary Oktoberfest is a yearly event that invites talented crafters to showcase their goods in a family-friendly setting. The event includes exciting performances, food vendors, and fun activities for children. The Rotary Club of Boardman uses the festival to raise funds for local causes and assist the organization's global partners. The first Oktoberfest in the town was held in 1976 and was used to promote the community.

Merchants interested in participating in the festival must follow the event's rules. All items offered at their booths should be handmade, and no dangerous objects are allowed to be sold at the festival. Those without a permanent Ohio Vendors License are required to call the Mahoning County Auditor. Fire extinguishers are necessary at all stalls during the fest, and spaces may only be reserved by Mailing in an application and check to the organizers in advance.

The market will be on Sunday, October 2nd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets will cost $5. Commercial businesses looking to attend the event may purchase a space for $350, and arts and crafts vendors can reserve a spot for $135. Organizations that run community expos similar to this can use flyer printing to get local merchants and consumers interested in the events.
