Car show and flea market coming to Boardman

Next month, the Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club will be hosting the 41st Annual Car Show and Flea Market at Boardman Park in Ohio.

The Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club was formed in 1978 by a group of residents interested in older cars. The organization currently consists of about 200 members and actively hosts events to raise funds for young people with illnesses. There has been over $90,000 donated in the past ten years by the club. Members also participate in parades and nursing home visits, while cruising to locations throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.

The car show will have multiple activities for attendees, such as a Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing, and a kids corner that children can enjoy. There will be 48 awards given to those participating in the show, including the Participant’s Choice Award and the President’s Choice Award. People can enter their vehicles into 24 different classes, with categories ranging from Rat Rods to Thunderbirds. Organizers for events like this can use poster printing to create advertisements to place around the community to raise interest for the show.

The 41st Annual Car Show and Flea Market will be held on August 4 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Those who are interested in entering the car show can pre-egister by July 30th for $10. People who pre-register for the show will be given a free T-shirt that can be picked up on the day of the event. Spectators can visit the show for free.
