Boardman to organize Halloween experience

The community is invited to participate in a Halloween-themed event held at Boardman Park.

The Spooktacular Halloween Drive-Thru Display is a community program where Boardman locals can celebrate the season with a themed, family-friendly activity. The experience will include several lit decorations and creatures that visitors can observe from their own vehicles. Families can tune their radios to 88.9 FM for Halloween-related tunes during their visit. The drive-thru display is only available in the evening and won’t begin until October 15th.

People interested in being part of the Halloween drive-thru display can create decorations during the Boardman Park’s Pumpkin Carve Out Contest. There will be three carving sessions where families can bring their own tools and make unique pumpkins at the park’s bocce court. Prizes will be available for the adults and children who carve the best pumpkins. Participants can purchase pumpkins from the organizer for $5. All of the creations will be placed in front of the bocce court and displayed through October 31st. The carving sessions will be on October 18th, October 19th, and October 20th.

Boardman’s Halloween drive-thru event will be held from October 15th to October 31st. People can visit the display between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm. There is no cost or registration needed to drive through Boardman Park. Communities that organize similar Halloween experiences to this may use poster printing to share information with more locals.
