Mill Creek Metroparks will organize an hour-long bike trip through a local trail in Boardman this October.
The MetroCyclers Bike Trip is an experience where people can go on a guided bike tour of a local park trail. The excursion starts at the West Golf Drive Overflow Parking at the Mill Creek Golf Course. Participants will then go on a 10-12 mile bike ride on the East Golf Hike & Bike Trail. All attendees are responsible for bringing their own bikes to the venue, and all bike riders must wear helmets. The activity can be enjoyed by adults, children, and seniors.
The Mill Creek MetroCyclers is a program created by Mill Creek Metroparks that encourages people to spend time outdoors by hosting group exercise and exploration sessions at different parks and trailheads. People who become members of the Mill Creek MetroCyclers will receive a drawstring backpack, a shirt, and a water bottle. Members also receive branded decals to use on their cars or helmets. Non-members may join the excursions for an additional fee.
The group bike trip at the Mill Creek Golf Course will be held on October 20th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The event is dependent on the weather. The trip will cost $10 for Boardman residents who aren’t members of the cycling group. Organizations in charge of similar excursions may use flyer printing to share details about their activities with consumers.
