Southern Park Mall in Boardman will be hosting a ribs fest in June that features several talented bands.
The Ribs-N-Rock Festival is an event where people can witness a ribs cook-off while enjoying music from many different performers. This year, the participating eateries include Desperado's BBQ and Rib Company, and The Carolina Rib King. Those of legal drinking age may order alcohol from the outdoor Chili's Margarita Bar. There will also be an afterparty held at the Steel Valley Brew Works where guests can meet with members of the participating bands.
Several special guests will appear at the festival to perform, such as Bad JuJu Cleveland, No Funk No Justice, and Turbo Lovers. The headlining acts for each night of the event include The Clarks, Fuel, and The Gin Blossoms. The Clarks is a band known for rock and alt-country songs, and Fuel is an award-nominated rock band. The Gin Blossoms play music that combines elements of pop, country, folk, and melodic rock.
The festival will be held from Thursday, June 22 to Saturday, June 24. The event will open daily at noon, and guests will receive free admission to the venue until 3:00 pm. Tickets for the festival will cost $7 per person. People who promote summer fests such as this may use banner printing to share their concerts with outdoor audiences.
