Boardman to celebrate on craft beer day
Boardman beer lovers can celebrate Ohio's very own weather-predicting groundhog Buckeye Chuck, and his 2025 prediction for when winter will end this February by enjoying some local craft brews.
Opened in 1926, the Stambaugh Auditorium will be hosting the Rotary Club of Youngstown's 7th annual Groundhog Craft Beerfest.
The Boardman community is invited to discover their new favorite drink at the event, which is designed to showcase a wide range of local craft brewers and raise money for the wide range of charitable activities the Rotary Club supports. A popular occasion, previous events have helped raise over $80,000 to help support the local community.
Due to the high demand, there will be two sessions – one from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and a second from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Space is limited, so reserving tickets in advance is recommended. Groundhog Craft Beerfest attendees will be able to try a wide range of local beers and enjoy live entertainment and food.
Events like the Groundhog Craft Beerfest are meant to showcase a wide range of local businesses. They also rely on sponsorships to help offset the cost of running the event and generate more money for the causes they support. In recognition of the support of these sponsors, event hosts often invest in banner printing to showcase these sponsors to event attendees.
The Rotary Club of Youngstown will launch the Groundhog Craft Beerfest on Saturday, February 1 at the Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 5th Ave, Youngstown. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Stambaugh Auditorium box office.
