The community is invited to attend a ghost hunting lecture at the Boardman Library soon.
People who are curious about the process behind ghost hunting can visit Kimberly Mitchell's presentation. Mitchell is a local paranormal historian who has conducted over 300 investigations into paranormal activities.
She will tell attendees about her experiences as a ghost hunter while explaining several of the techniques she uses when investigating locations. Mitchell will also bring video and photo examples of paranormal phenomena to the lecture.
Mitchell founded Ghosting12, a team of paranormal investigators, in 2008. The group is dedicated to researching historical sites to determine whether or not the ghost stories surrounding the locations have any merit.
Her team has also lead several guided tours in the past and won an award for their participation in the 2010 East Liverpool Christmas Parade. Groups such as this can use brochure printing to provide extra information during their tours or presentations.
The ghost hunting lecture will be held on October 20 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. There is no purchase necessary to attend, though the presentation will only be for those who are age 10 or older. No registration is required to join.
