Boardman golf scramble to help charitable association

Elisa's Entourage will organize a fundraising golf game in September at the Mill Meek Golf Course in Boardman.

The Elisa's Entourage Sixth Annual Golf Outing is a golfing competition that benefits the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley. Those who register for the event will receive lunch on the golf course, dinner, a gift, and access to golf carts. The course contests include having the longest drive and longest put. Participants will be playing 18 holes of golf. Organizations can advertise charitable competitions like this by using flyer printing.

Elisa's Entourage is a fundraising group that has raised over $100,000 for the community. They support several organizations, including Akron Children's Hospital and Miss Dana's Diamonds. Contributions from Elisa's Entourage have also helped projects such as The Walnut Grove. Businesses interested in supporting the group can become a sponsor for the golf outing. All sponsors will be recognized on golfer swag Bags and the event's website.

The game will take place on Saturday, September 11th and will begin at 11:30 am. The cost to register a team of four for the event will be $400. Individuals may enter the contest for $100 and will be assigned to a team. Registration fees are due by September 1st.
