Families interested in a fun evening can attend a gathering in August held at the Boardman Township Park.
Family Night in the Park is an event offered by the community where people can come together to enjoy free entertainment. The first portion of the festival will feature a live concert by the band Backbeat. After the performance, guests can watch a public showing of the movie Frozen 2. Attendees are recommended to bring their lawn chairs or blankets to the gathering. Organizers in charge of activities like this can promote their program using Print shops.
Backbeat is a talented cover band capable of playing several genres, including swing, funk, rock, and pop. The group has performed at several notable events, such as the Quastar Capital National Convention and St. Elizabeth Hospital Grand Opening Celebration. John Reese is the leader of Backbeat and plays the trombone. He provides vocals for the group alongside Tom Ruggieri. The other members of the band are Wilbur Krebs, Tim Harker, and Jim Gerlach.
The family event will be held on Saturday, August 14 and will begin at 7:00 pm. The movie will start at 9:00 pm. Guests do not need to pay to partake in the activities, and registration is not necessary for attendees.
