Torrie’s Academy of Dance in Boardman will be accepting new students this August for fall classes.
Children interested in learning how to dance can register for courses offered at Torrie’s Academy of Dance. The school teaches several genres of dancing, such as ballet, hip hop, and jazz. Students can also learn about competitive dancing, acrobats, and musical theater at the academy.
There are lessons designed for many age groups, with the youngest starting at three years old and the oldest students being 18. Businesses like this that teach kids can use poster printing for advertising classes at local libraries and schools.
Torrie’s Academy of Dance was first opened in 2004 by Torrie Trella-Ward, a professional dancer. Trella-Ward has earned numerous dance titles, including Teen Miss Dance Educators of America, Miss Northern Cleveland, and Miss Kids Artistic Review. She also has experience working as a dancer on the Disney Cruise Line. Trella-Ward started a non-profit organization that teaches those with disabilities how to dance, called the Limitless Dance Company.
Parents can register their children for upcoming dance classes on August 17th, 19th, 24th, and 26th. Classes will start at $42 per month, and all new applicants must pay a $30 registration fee. Students who are returning to the academy of dance can pay $25 to register instead. Interested parents can contact the studio for additional information.
