The fourth Noodles and Company location on Long Island has opened in Hicksville.
The popular noodle restaurant opened its doors to the public at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville. This location seats 130, and comprises 4,000 square feet. The other three Long Island restaurants are at Westbury Plaza in Garden City, in Waverly Plaza in Patchogue, and at the Airport Plaza in Farmingdale.
Noodles and Company is a nationwide chain of franchises that specializes in pasta from all over the world. Customers place their order at the counter and receive a number, then seat themselves. Servers bring their food to their table. In addition, if customers need anything else, such as extra utensils or a dessert, servers will provide the items without the patrons have to return to the line.
Meals are simple: patrons select their noodle dish, then add a protein. Options include pad Thai, spaghetti and meatballs, Bangkok curry, macaroni and cheese, and steak stroganoff. Customers may substitute vegetables, for the pasta if they wish, and low-calorie bowls are also available. The items are all priced at less than $10.
The Hicksville Noodles is at 363 Broadway Mall, near the entrance to the mall.
The franchise manager could consider working with a flyer printing company to have a handout, including a coupon, printed for distribution near the restaurant for the next several weeks to increase traffic to the new store.
