Childhood Cancer Month is coming up in a few weeks, and a Hicksville organization has plans to recognize the month and play its role in making a difference.
Gigi’s Golden Festival is set to provide a memorable day where Hicksville residents can make a difference by supporting a good cause. The event is being organized to raise money for Friends of Karen, a local non-profit organization that uses its time and resources to support children battling cancer and their families.
The festival will bring live music, food, and fun to one place for a memorable day with friends and family. It was inspired by the strength shown by Gigi, a local girl who battled cancer. A live DJ will provide the soundtrack for the day, creating an energetic and positive experience. Banner printing is an effective way to promote such events to passersby while welcoming guests and promoting the festival’s sponsors.
Food and beverage vendors will be at the festival to ensure all guests are comfortable. Visitors can participate in a Chinese auction or raffle for the chance to win prizes. The festival is a positive way for the Hicksville community to come together and make a difference.
The festival will be held at Patrizia’s of Long Island in Hicksville on Friday, September 26th, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $135 per person.
