Visitors authority hires new communications executive

Lori Nelson-Kraft, a corporate communications executive who has spent many years at Station Casinos, was recently appointed by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

Nelson-Kraft will be senior vice president of government affairs and communications at LVCVA, and will start her new position new month. Printing services can be used to create materials to inform the community of such new hires.

She has spent 14 of her 25 years in the communications field at Station Casinos. Although she is sorry to leave her current position, she feels that the position with the LVCVA is a great opportunity for her career.

The CEO of LVCVA, Steve Hill, expressed his excitement about Nelson-Kraft joining the team. She has a great deal of experience in tourism and gaming, with deep roots in the community, and will be of great value to the organization. Nelson-Kraft expressed the honor she felt of working for Station Casinos but is looking forward to working with Hill and the board to help make Las Vegas a travel destination.

Nelson-Kraft is a native of Michigan and has worked for marketing agency R&R Partners as their associate director of public relations. In Las Vegas, she also owned her own small public relations agency.

Fletch Brunelle was also recently hired by the LVCVA as its new vice president of marketing and started earlier this month.
