A convention for professionals in the towing industry is now on the way to Las Vegas.
American Towman ShowPlace holds periodic events where industry suppliers and tow bosses can meet in person. Towing is a vital service, whether the vehicles are rescuing stranded motorists, clearing accidents, or working with law enforcement.
The venue is the South Point Hotel Convention Center, where attendees will find a combined sports arena and exhibit hall, making it easy for them to observe equipment demonstrations, and then visit vendors. This year, over 160 vendors will be on hand with EV technology, environmental cleanup equipment, rearview cameras, emergency lights, GPS systems, management software, insurance, finance, towing accessories, motor clubs, heavy hauling trailers, tow truck chassis, tow truck bodies, and more.
In addition to vendors and equipment, the show features the American Towman Academy, where experts will present 17 classes on a range of topics vital to increasing the knowledge of a tow owner. Independent courses in management techniques needed to maximize profits will also be offered, and hands-on training in recovery techniques will be available. The popular Cactus Feast and Pie Palooza are planned as well.
Special guests at the event are members of the California Tow Truck Association, who will offer training, seminars, and an awards gala topped off with a performance by Felix & Fingers, dueling pianists.
