Superstar guitarist coming to Vegas

An artist who can be recognized as soon as he plays the first note is set to entertain Vegas.

Carlos Santana began his rise to fame in San Francisco in the 1960s, as part of the music scene centered on such famous venues as the Fillmore. In 1969, he and his group appeared at the legendary Woodstock festival, as well as dropping their debut album, “Santana.” One of the tracks on the album, “Evil Ways,” went into the Top 10, and the album remained on the Billboard album chart for over two years. Shortly after that, Santana released two more albums that hit the No. 1 spot on the albums chart – “Santana III” and “Abraxas.”

Santana has gone on to have a fantastic career that has lasted more than 40 years. In that time, the band has sold over 100 million records, winning ten Grammys and three Latin Grammys. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. The Hall’s website says:

“Guitarist Carlos Santa is one of rock’s true virtuosos and guiding lights.”

Santana will be at the House of Blues in Las Vegas for 18 performances, beginning January 25 at 7.00 pm. There are eight performances between January 25 and February 5, then there will be a break until May 6, when the artist will give another ten performances, wrapping up his engagement on May 28. When events like these are planned, organizers can use poster printing to create suitable advertising.
