Schulman Properties is looking to build an apartment complex in Henderson near Las Vegas.
Bob Schulman, founder of Schulman Properties, has purchased property spanning seven acres near the practice facility of the new professional football team, the Raiders. An apartment complex of 232 units to be called The Place will be located on Raiders Way in an area of the valley that is growing rapidly. The cost of the project is expected to be $70 million.
The complex will include a private club, a restaurant, a sport court, a high-end fitness center, and an outdoor gym. Each apartment will also have a safe. Also featured will be staff to run programs every month for which residents will be charged a resort fee to cover events, food, wine, and salaries.
The size of each apartment will range from 500 top 1,380 square feet. Rent for these units will start at $1,300 per month and could be as high as $3,000 per month. Schulman believes that the apartments will attract renters as the complex is close to the Strip, freeways, medical care, and many other amenities and services. Ground is expected to be broken on the complex in January of next year.
