The Las Vegas Monorail recently announced a special rate of $1.00 for people in the local area for accessing the holiday activities around the Strip in an affordable way.
Parking is free at the SLS Las Vegas, where riders can start their trip, and then go to any of the seven stops along the way.
Before boarding the monorail at SLS Las Vegas, the Northside Café and Chinese Kitchen is offering a special “Secret Locals Menu”, specializing in breakfast or lunch. Next is the Westgate Resort and Casino stop where there are 12 days of spa specials at the Westgate's Serenity Day Spa. There is a large discount, complimentary service, or some other offer each day through December 24.
The stop at the Las Vegas Convention Center recently had an extravaganza of free Western apparel and gifts. The Harrah's Las Vegas/The LINQ Promenade station has been transformed into a winter wonderland. There are carolers singing traditional Christmas tunes and dancers performing a whimsical ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
At the Flamingo Las Vegas/Caesars Palace station, younger members of the family can enjoy the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
The Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck at the Paris Las Vegas stop offers residents a 50 percent discount and those who go to the MGM Grand stop can experience virtual reality.
