The fifth stop of alternative metal band Tool’s North American tour will be Las Vegas next month. The tour is in support of the group’s chart-topping fifth album “Fear Inoculation.”
The tour started in Toronto and has been sold out, requiring the band to add performances in some cities to which it has not been in over 10 years. The tour has received accolades in the press, including comments from the Los Angeles Times, The Arizona Republic, and the Chicago Tribune, ranging from being an impeccable performance to providing audiences with an art-rock spectacular. Banner printing for such tours can employ such comments to help promote the tour throughout the many cities that it covers.
This latest album was released 13 years after its predecessor, and shot to the top position on the Billboard 200 album charts. There were close to 270,000 equivalent album units sold in the first week, with 248,000 of these coming from traditional album sales. This was the largest debut week of any rock album in over a year.
The concert by Tool will be at the T-Mobile Arena on Friday, January 17. Tickets are currently on sale with VIP packages available for Tool Army members. The tour will end in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center on Saturday, February 1.
