An upcoming conference will bring together logistics experts to provide education and resources to carriers who are responsible for the “final mile.”
This is not as sinister as it sounds. The “last mile” or “final mile” is understood as the distance covered when the final delivery is made to the customer, and is often the trickiest part of the entire journey. Delivery services responsible for the final mile include UPS, FedEx, and the USPS.
The host of the upcoming Final Mile Forum & Expo 2024 is the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA), which is a non-profit trade organization founded in 1987. Using education, networking, and advocacy, the CLDA supports the interests of the delivery and logistics industry. The Association provides the education and resources for final mile carriers to learn about opportunities and current trends in the industry.
At the upcoming conference, carriers operating in the final mile will have an opportunity to meet with thought leaders in the industry, network with peers, and examine the latest solutions and products. The CLDA Exchange Hall will house more than 350 decision makers and business owners, and will offer an opportunity for people to meet and discuss logistics one-on-one. All meals as well as the Grand Opening Reception will be held in the Exchange Hall.
The Final Mile Forum & Expo 2024 will take place February 14 to 16 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Events like this provide outstanding opportunities for attendees to exchange Business Cards.
