Walking fundraiser to return to Hamilton

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be organizing a fundraiser in April at Hamilton Veterans Park.

Walk MS 2022 will be coming back to Hamilton to help The National Multiple Sclerosis Society spread awareness for its cause and earn money for combatting the condition. The path used for the event will be accessible to those with strollers or people on mobility devices. People may enter an existing team for the fundraiser or become team captains. The current top earning groups in the event include Team Rocco, MS Crushing MS, and Team Engelman.

This year, the premier national sponsor for the event is Sanofi Genzyme, and the national sponsors include Bristol Myers Squibb, Novartis, and EMD Serono. Other companies can also become sponsors for Walk MS by contacting the organizers online. Organizations that are sponsors will have their logos featured on the Walk MS website. Businesses can give money to charitable events like this to share their Logo Design with participants in the fundraiser.

Walk MS 2022 will be held on Sunday, April 24 at 9:00 am. Those interested in registering for the event must create a new account to participate. There will be an app for people to download to help participants track their fundraising goals and send messages to their contacts and social media pages. Checks can also be deposited through the application.
