Hamilton Township will be hosting a race taking place on New Year's Day, and residents have already begun registering for this event. The marathon is open to all residents, and there are several different competitions which can be chosen.
The 2026 New Year's 5K & 1.5K Pup Strut is somewhat different when compared to standard marathons. Runners are encouraged to bring along their pets, so it will also provide a means for the entire family to become involved. All proceeds will be donated to Camp Quality NJ. This is an organization associated with supporting children who have been diagnosed with cancer, and their families.
The New Year's 5K & 1.5K Pup Strut is comprised of two main events. Visitors can participate in a 5K marathon, or instead bring along a pet to enjoy a relaxing 1.5-kilometer walk. Everyone who participates will be given a long-sleeve shirt at the end of the race, and competitors can also enjoy a finisher medal.
Athletic events will use a variety of methods to keep the public informed. Mass banner printing, creating Brochures, and printing Posters are three common examples.
The Hamilton New Year's 5K & 1.5K Pup Strut is being held on January 1st, and both races are slated to begin at 11 AM. Runners are asked to arrive at Veteran's Park in Downtown Hamilton in advance. Tickets cost between $27.50 and $41.28, depending on the race.
