Professional baseball players to teach Hamilton camp

The NJ Tigers Travel Baseball Team will be organizing a children’s summer camp in July at Hamilton Veterans Park.

The Summer Baseball Camp is an opportunity for kids to learn about all of the aspects of baseball. The fun and safe activity will have local, qualified instructors coach the children. No prior experience is required for campers to participate in the event. Organizations offering athletic programs similar to this can work with Print shops to make ads to promote their camps.

Ryan Shinn will be joining the camp to help instruct the kids. Shinn was formerly part of the New York Mets and played as an outfielder and first baseman. He was drafted by the Mets from the University of Kentucky.

The program will also have Milt Thompson from the Philadelphia Phillies visit for a day. Thompson has experience as a baseball coach and was a professional outfielder and pinch hitter. He also played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves.

The sports camp will be held from Monday, July 26th to Thursday, July 29th. Each session of the program will last from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The cost of the experience will be $210 per child. After camp services will be available for $25 per day until 3:00 pm for parents who cannot pick up their campers by 1:00 pm.
