New restaurant and other shops to arrive at Lehigh Valley

Hamilton Crossings is expected to be the home of an Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza when it opens in July 2016.

Anthony's wants a liquor license from a restaurant it once had in South Whitehall Township transferred to Hamilton Crossings, and is awaiting approval from a hearing by the Lower Macungie Township later this month.

If approved, this would be the first Anthony’s location in Lehigh Valley, even though it has seven other restaurants in New Jersey and eight in Pennsylvania. Developers TCH Development and The Goldenberg Group commented that there will be between six and eight restaurants in the complex.

Hamilton Crossings will be a $570,000 square foot complex that will also be home to the first Costco and Whole Foods in Lehigh Valley, anchors of the shopping center. Also making their local debuts will be Rally House, Nordstrom Rack, and Target. The total cost of the project will be $140m.

As construction began earlier this spring, most likely the developers have turned to banner printing companies to create larger pieces on the site highlighting the shops and other facilities in the complex.

Once completed, Hamilton Crossings will also bring 619 full-time and 301 part-time retail positions to the area, and a new traffic control system that will adjustments to the location and duration of light changes in real-time based on the ebb and flow of traffic.
