Jim Gaven will be returning to the Hamilton Free Public Library in April to hold a virtual concert for kids of all ages.
The Friends of the Library will be sponsoring an online performance by Jim Gaven, who is the founder of the Key of Awesome Music publishing company. Gaven has released more than two dozen albums during his career and has worked with bands such as Age of Wisdom and Postmark Twain. He has over a decade’s worth of experience working with people with developmental disabilities and helping students express themselves through music.
Key of Awesome Music is a company established in 2011 that aims to make the world a better place with music. Members of the organization host educational music sessions to teach students how to write songs and play instruments like the guitar, drums, and piano. The courses are held at several facilities, including nursing homes, children’s hospitals, and recovery centers. Groups offering beneficial programs like this can advertise their events with printing services.
The live concert will be held on the Key of Awesome Music’s Facebook page on April 20th from 10:30 am to 11:10 am. No fees need to be paid to view the performance. Those interested in learning more about the services offered by Jim Gaven’s organization can view additional details on his Facebook page.
