Local organization to hold picnic in Hamilton

The Valley of Central Jersey Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite (AASR) will hold a picnic in Hamilton.

The Valley of Central Jersey Annual Picnic is an experience where members of the Scottish Rite can gather with their peers while enjoying outdoor games and food. The menu for the event will include burgers, sweet sausages, corn cobs, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. There will also be family-friendly games at the picnic like cornhole and horseshoes. The gathering will take place at the Tall Cedar Picnic Grounds. Children can even get their faces painted at the event.

Pete Saunders is the organizer of the picnic. Saunders is the current secretary for the Valley of Central Jersey and has organized several activities for the organization. The past events that Saunders organized include the Veterans Day Mimosa Brunch, The Fine Tapestry of Motherhood, and the Skipper Center Champagne Brunch. He is also certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification in fire damage, water damage, and odor control.

The organization’s group picnic will be held on Saturday, August 17th from noon to 5:00 pm. Tickets for the experience will cost $25 for adults and $10 for children. Those interested in the event should register in advance. Groups that offer similar experiences to this may use printing services to make commemorative shirts for their members to wear during the events.
