Hamilton venue hosts Mother's Day celebration

This Mother's Day, the Hamilton community is celebrating together at the 2025 Azalea Festival.

The Sayen Botanical Gardens is a municipal park in Hamilton open year-round, but has peak activity during the spring, making it the perfect location for the upcoming event.

The Azalea Festival is designed to celebrate Mother's Day for the whole community. Visitors are invited to stroll through the renowned botanical gardens in full spring bloom, with over 250 thousand flowering dogwoods, rhododendrons, bulbs, and, of course, the azalea shrubs from which the festival takes its name.

The festival will also be hosting a craft market filled with local vendors for residents to find unique gifts for their loved ones. If attendees become hungry, there will also be several local food trucks on site. Festival attendees can also tour the Sayen house and are welcome to explore the botanical garden's walking paths, bridges, lakes, gazebos, and fountains. The event will also have live music from several local groups, and attendees are encouraged to stop by the photo booth in Sayen House to receive a free family portrait.

Often, vendors at this type of festival will invest in brochure printing to help showcase additional inventory or services. This also provides attendees with a method of remembering their favorite vendors after the event.

The 2025 Azalea Festival will take place on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Sayen Botanical Gardens, located at 155 Hughes Drive, Hamilton. Additional information can be found on the Hamilton Township website.
