Hamilton to hold Irish Festival

People interested in experiencing Emerald Isle culture can visit the Hamilton Township this October to attend the Irish Festival.

At this event, guests can participate in various activities while watching live acts. There will be several bands joining the festival, like the Bogside Rouges and BallyCastle. The traditional and contemporary Irish dance school, Rince O’ Chroi, will also be performing during the event. Guests can take part in a 50/50 raffle at the festival and will have access to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Attendees can try food provided by onsite vendors, or choose to have a meal at the Natterjacks pub. The festival will also have a children’s zone, which will include a petting zoo and face-painting. Kids can carve pumpkins at the event, though only the first 75 children can join for free. Organizers for community events like the Irish Festival can use poster printing to put up advertisements that raise local interest.

The Irish Festival will be held on October 5 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event will cost $5 per person to enter, though children who are 15 or younger will receive free admission if with a paying adult. Those attending the festival can bring chairs and blankets to the event. No pets will be allowed, but service animals are permitted. The children’s area will close earlier at 5:00 pm.
