Anybody interested in learning how to use the program MapReduce can go to Entirety Technology in Hamilton, New Jersey to attend an informational course starting later this month.
The Introduction to MapReduce class gives students 16 hours of live instruction over the course of eight sessions. Attendees will be given the necessary training materials and instructional handouts to complete their lessons, and will have access to hands-on lab exercises on cloud workstations. Students will solve problems in real-life scenarios while also working with actual code and scripts. Exposure to Java is preferred for those taking the class, but not required.
There will be five sections of the course going over various information regarding MapReduce. Topics that students will learn throughout the class include lessons such as the anatomy of the MapReduce program, side date distribution, and the history of MapReduce. Those participating in the course will also be taught how to write their own MapReduce programs. Classes like this training course can use brochure printing to give their students additional learning materials to bring home.
The Introduction to MapReduce class will begin next Saturday, July 20, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. The course will continue to be held on following weekends until August 11. Anybody who would like to join the class can buy a ticket for $650. Refunds for the course will be available up until one day before it begins.
