The final meeting is set to take place on Monday, September 18, eight days before the vote on September 26. The last meeting will be held in the auditorium at Nottingham High School, starting at 7:00 pm. It should last until around 8:30pm.
School districts can use Brochures to educate residents and taxpayers about the changes that need to be made and how those changes will affect taxes.
According to Hamilton school district, any upgrades are critical updates to the buildings' infrastructure. They range from adding new windows and roofs to installing security systems. Parents, students, staff members and others from the local community are welcome to the attend the upcoming meeting.
Dr. Scott Rocco, the district's superintendent, will head up the meeting, and said in a statement:
"I am looking forward to speaking with parents, students, and members of the community about the incredible need for these infrastructure updates.
"I believe the plan we have put together represents a responsible, measured approach to addressing critical needs in our schools.”
The referendum was first scheduled for January of this year, but the school board voted to move it to September.
