Killarney's Publick House in Hamilton will organize two days of events for women and their best friends.
The Galentine's Weekend is a platonic spin on Valentine's Day where friends can enjoy several activities at a local pub. The first day will include a floral arrangement class and dance party with DJ Jimmy G. The workshop is provided by Ivy on Main, a company run by Angela D'Andrea and Toni Perilli. The business creates custom event installations and hosts many classes, such as the Kid's Beaded Bracelet and Book Bag Charm Workshop.
The second date of the pub's program will feature a permanent jewelry activity with Lasting Linx, a business located in Toms River, New Jersey that sells bracelets, necklaces, and anklets. There will also be live music entertainment provided by Ty Mares. He is a singer, songwriter, and musician who came from Denver, Colorado. Mares has been studying music since he was 13 and has created multiple original tracks. His songs include Run from This, Dancing in the Rain, and Love You.
The Galentine's Weekend experience will be held on Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 11th. Brunch will be served on both event dates from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
