Hamilton offers luxury resort for dogs

Natalie Mooney and Geancarlo Tomassini recently announced they will be opening a K-9 Resorts in Hamilton.

K-9 Resorts is a luxury “resort” for dogs with offerings ranging from premium bedding to cage-free living quarters. All day group play with other dogs is one option or owners can choose three private walks and two personal playtimes per day. An executive suite is also available with a sound-resistant environment, glass privacy doors and a house diet for dogs with sensitive stomachs. There will also be a swimming pool for the dogs.

According to Mooney, the two business partners had decided to meet with K-9 Resorts, based on their love of dogs and the desire to make that their work. A week before their meeting, they made a surprise visit to another location of K-9 Resorts.

They were impressed with what they saw. Mooney commented that the location was immaculately clean, the employees were very helpful, and great detail was paid to every aspect of the operation. They immediately decided that this was the right move for them.

This will be the seventh location of the chain and Mooney and Tomassini plan to open it by the end of September.
