The New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities (NJCDD) will be hosting a public meeting this March at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton.

The NJCDD hosts a quarterly meeting each year to discuss a series of topics related to developmental disabilities. The discussion will include hearing from projects that are funded by the NJCDD and trying to create effective outcomes for those impacted by the disabilities. A committee will make decisions at the meeting after researching issues that impact the community. Organizations that host occasions such as this can use printing services to produce ads that interest locals.

The NJCDD is dedicated to providing individualized support and community services that promote productivity and independence to those who are affected by development disabilities. Several activities are funded by the NJCDD, including Family Support Planning Councils, People First New Jersey, and the Youth Leadership Training Program. The organization also offers multiple publications to help support those with developmental disabilities, like NJ Common Ground and the Disability Focus Blog.

The next meeting for the NJCDD will be held on Thursday, March 19 and will last from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The event is open to members of the community, and no payment or registration is needed to visit the meeting. Those who have been affected by developmental disabilities can apply to become members of the NJCDD.
