The UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Hamilton will host two comedy shows in December to support the It's a Ruff Life Rescue.
Laffs for Staffs is a charitable program where people can watch performances from a line-up of talented comedians. The line-up consists of four performers, including Ryan Foster, Peggy O'Leary, Dan Marquez, and Matt Peoples. The comedians have performed at many notable venues, such as the Stress Factory Comedy Club, Helium Comedy Club, and Caroline's on Broadway. A portion of the ticket sales will support the animal rescue.
The It's a Ruff Life Rescue is a non-profit organization that caters to all breeds of dogs. The group has no physical facility and is based out of multiple foster homes run by passionate volunteers. All dogs taken into the rescue are temperament tested and fully vetted before being put up for adoption. Those interested in helping the organization foster pets can take its Ruff Life Academy training program, which consists of 10 virtual classes that answer common foster questions.
Laffs for Staffs will be held on Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets to both of the shows will cost guests $25. People who want to directly support the pet rescue can donate online, purchase dog supplies for the organization, or become volunteers. Non-profits like this may promote their local activities with poster printing.
